Over the last few months members of the Eldon Pothole Club have been exploring some significant extensions to the Mainstream Inlet Series in New Oxlow. After passing an awkward squeeze at the most northerly end of the system, they dropped down into 100m of hands and knees passage, passed numerous passages yet to be fully explored, to reach a muddy dig. After two digging trips this was passed to break into the large Nights Templar. This 60m long rift cavern has been climbed to 70m high with numerous passages heading off at all levels, including east towards the Peak Speedwell System.
