See map for authorised routes to these sites from B6061 road. Call at Oxlow House Farm first where £2 charge is payable. Failure to do this could upset future access for everybody.

No changing available at farm, limited parking at Farm in the small yard immediately next to the road in front of the barn, do not obstruct gates, a small parking fee of £1 is charged. Alternatively, use roadside verge but beware, as parked vehicles have been broken into.

Do not approach entrances from Rowter Farm direction. Leave all entrance lids secure and heed any warning notices posted on state of these sites & their entrances. Report any problems to DCA.

This site is part of the DCA SSSI Conservation Monitoring Scheme.
See the DCA website for competition details.

A report of a collapse in the entrance shaft was received 16/11/2023. Around the level of the 3rd rebelay, a caver stood on a ledge which then collapsed under them and sent large rocks falling down the shaft and left an unsupported area of deads in the shaft wall. Thankfully no one was injured but there remains a risk of further collapse. DCA recommend cavers stay away from the mine for now until a safety inspection of the shaft can be completed.

Parts of the mine are in a dangerous state of collapse, and great care is needed.
