Perennial spring issuing into a private field on Duchy of Lancaster land below Michill Bank. Water resurges onto the overlying shale from underneath a solid stone slab, deeply buried, and then runs through an aperture in the adjacent drystone wall before being culverted underground for approx. 50m. Water then resurges again and flows along the surface to Peakshole Water. Scattered mineral gravel and water-sampling data suggests the spring may be an old sough, currently undocumented.
