Access

No access restrictions. Call on Mr.Bradley at Winnats Head Farm to pay a small charge for parking and changing in the farmyard if required. Parking prohibited on public roadside verges, with risk of fines. Beware of unstable boulder chokes & heed any warning notices posted on state of cave.

This site is part of the DCA SSSI Conservation Monitoring Scheme.

Warning

Both boulder chokes, below the Main Chamber and below Fox Chamber, are potentially dangerous due to slippage, and rescue from beyond would be almost impossible. Take great care when passing through these chokes.
