Entrance of Sallet Hole Cave


No known access restrictions. High on the south side of Coombs Dale, above the (blocked) adit entrance to Sallet Hole Mine. Right-hand passage (on a vein) at back of entrance chamber has a backup anchor on left wall after 4m, with abseil anchors for a Y-hang 3m along, over a 61m-deep shaft, which is a narrow slot throughout. No connection to the mine below.
