Streaks Pot, Lower Entrance

Entrance of Streaks Pot, Lower Entrance

Access

Approx. 4m above the road roughly 183m west of Hawkenedge Well. Entrance via two oil drums, not to be confused with Sunday Mine to the east which was four oil drums deep, but is now largely collapsed.

No known access restrictions. Obvious parking spots close to base of crags and in lay-bys in the dale and next to electricity sub-station at foot of Eyam Dale. DO NOT BLOCK the sub-station entrance. Take care, as area is notorious for thefts from parked vehicles.

This site is part of the DCA SSSI Conservation Monitoring Scheme.
See the DCA website for competition details.
