Entrance of Pretoria Mine

Access

block No access to this site allowed.

Access to Pretoria Mine is currently suspended.

On the west side of the Monyash road out of Bakewell, under land owned by Lady Manners School. Access is down a 6m steel ladder in a shaft built to intersect the head of the incline when the quarry was backfilled.
